Key competitive attributes of the product include its ability to enable IT managers to monitor encrypted IM, keep track and monitor IM usage from remote laptops and provide full support across the widest range of IM clients.

Independent market research suggests that 30% of all companies that are required to monitor email, will also require a solution for IM compliance and security. The product is critically important in industries that are subject to regulatory oversight, such as financial services or healthcare, subject to SEC, HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley or other regulatory restrictions.

The initial product is being used in pilot deployments in energy trading, financial trading and a variety of other industries. An enhanced product has been developed, based on feedback from these pilot deployments, and will be ready for launch in Q3/2009. The company seeks to sell the product line to a larger company with complementary products and distribution channels.
