The Company was founded in 1976 specializing in the manufacturing of precision components for the aerospace industry. The Company is based in the Province of Quebec and manufactures a broad range of structural, flight control and landing gear components. The Company's customers include leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the aerospace industry. Products
Parts range from wing structural components (ribs, fittings and longerons) to engine nacelle pylons, landing gear components and flight control manifolds and cylinders. Machined materials range from aluminum alloys to high heat treated carbon steels, high strength corrosion resistant steels to titanium alloys. They also provide various aircraft assemblies.
Facilities
The company owns and operates from a new 50 000 square foot plant. It was the Company's third expansion in the last 20 years.
Costumers
Bombardier and its Irish division Shorts Brothers are the Company's principal post 9/11 customers. Currently, and to a lesser degree it manufactures components for Bell helicopter, Bristol Aerospace, Goodrich Landing Gear and other leading second tier players of the aerospace industry. Notwithstanding the negative impact of 9/11 on the aerospace Industry, our clients sales have incressed more than 40% since september 11, 2001.
Management
The Company's management team is lead by the 54 year old owner, an engineer, who in the mid 80's took over from the Company's founder, his father.
Employees
The Company employs a total of 85 employees: 10 in administration, 3 technical, 64 production and 8 in inspection and quality assurance. The employees are highly qualified and non-union. The management relation with its employees is positive.
