A profitable manufacturer of educational furniture seeks a buyer. It is desired that prospective buyer or partner bring additional products for manufacture in the existing plant or significant marketing acumen that could increase sales. Due to the narrow production schedule of the school year the facility is not operating nearly as productively and profitably as it could. Any products that could be produced in the time frame of October through April would be a significant enhancement to the operation.
Overhead otherwise is low and wage rates extremely competitive (no union) This company has an excellent reputation and has been in business almost 50 years. The owner/manager would desire to operate the manufacturing facility another 5-8 years before retiring. A buyer or partner who had marketing skills and/or capital would be an excellent fit.
