The breads and viennoiseries can be found year round at a long list of local markets, well recognized shops, and several restaurants. From mid-spring until the end of autumn, the bakery products can be found at numerous farmers markets. New markets coming on stream include the greatly anticipated new Halifax Seaport Market.

The owners are young with a young family. They feel at this moment in time the business will be better served if they transition out of the business and allow someone with capital and management expertise to bring the business to the next level.

Growth/Expansion Potential: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT There is growth potential in new product development. MARKETING No marketing has been done for the past few years, as word of mouth has been there best advertisement. PRODUCTION SHIFTS Their existing work week consist only of four days. As the distribution channels are brought on, a second shift could be added at the bakery. EXPAND MARKETS AND LOCATIONS With the new Seaport market on its way, there is room to grow in the Halifax area. Another location could be open, in the valley or outside of Halifax, specifically Truro. Having a bakery in Truro would be a strategic move to penetrate the New Brunswick market.
