I am the head of a film finance and production company that has developed an innovative risk minimization strategy (including using A list actors, pre-selling equity on certain films which will in some cases cover the cost of production), and numerous exit scenarios (including international revenues from multiple A-titles, and public exit) for a high net worth angel, special situations, alternative, or other high net worth investor, private equity, or family office.

I am looking for a qualified active investor for several films including a "Goodfellas" meets "Once Upon A Time in America". The rest of the films would be horror and Indie films like "SAW", "Garden State", and others who are sold for 3-10x their production costs.

There has been a huge consolidation among major studios which are "drying up" in terms of producing product in-house and are aggressively looking to buy high-end films made independently.

There is a ripe window of opportunity as exemplified by the recent success of such films as Napoleon Dynamite (made for $250,000, sold for $5 million, with $50 million at the box office), Garden State, Open Water, Maria Full of Grace, SAW (made for $1,200,000, $120 million at the box office), as well as the phenomenal success of My Big Fat Greek Wedding which was made for $3 million and grossed $250 million.

The CEO'S and executives of companies such as the founders of PayPal, Fred Smith of FedEx, Norman Waitt Of Gateway, Jeff Skoll of eBay, Roger Marino of EMC, Marc Turtletaub of The Money Store, Marc Cuban/Todd Wagner, real estate developers, and other executives of Fortune 500 companies as well as private equity funds are financing films.

I am looking for a similar self-made entrepreneur who because of tax, vanity, or alternative investment reasons has always secretly wanted to get into the film business and wouldn't mind doing so with an ethical company whose prime objective is investor returns.
