A wholesale industrial distributor to government agencies is selling their tactical division. The company has available two profit centers: (1) an unmanned robotic vehicle used by the military to detect land bombs and (2) a manned All-terrain Vehicle (ATV)prototype designed for homeland security border patrol units and other law enforcement activities.

Robotic Vehicle: This high tech product was developed by a major government contractor. More than $600,000 was spent in research and design. Over 2,000 units have been used by the US military in the war on terror in the Middle East. The company has in inventory of forty units ready for assembly and is refining its capabilities. It far exceeds its competition in speed and battery-life. While all of the components are “off-the-shelf” available, the battery unit has proprietary qualities that can be patented.

Manned ATV: The company developed his product recently and has marketed it to homeland security vendors. It is ideally suited for border patrol operations as well as other law enforcement agencies throughout the USA. It can be outfitted with various configurations of electronic features and accessories in communications and surveillance.

Both product lines, including inventory and all intellectual assets, offered at $600,000.

Reason for Sale: Owner prefers to focus on his wholesale industrial supply business rather than engage in manufacturing. He is willing to partner with the purchaser as a distributor of these tactical products.
