After 20+ years in business they have developed strong ties with the primary design/build contractors in their area. Their residential service is also well established with almost all of their business coming by word of mouth and referral.
The company currently has over 300 maintenance contracts in place. Products installed are heat pumps, air conditioning, and gas and oil systems.
In addition to the company's office and warehouse space, they have a 900 sq. ft. sheet metal shop at their main location where they fabricate ductwork, etc. in support of their installation projects. The building where the business is located is owned independently by he owner and leased to the company.
The owner is active in the business, but has been developing two managers that are capable of running the business in his absence. There are over 20 people, including the owner. They have dedicated technicians, fabricators, installers, managers, and administrative support.
In addition to traditional HVAC services, the company also installs and services chillers and VAV systems. They do bid on LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) projects.They have the expertise to handle these complex types of projects.
The owner is in the early stages of planning for retirement. He has left time in his planning window to provide ample support to a new owner.
